Jeans of History
Speaking of jeans, people will naturally think of the gold rush in the United States in 1849. At that time, the first immigrants to set foot on the American continent were poor and white, and they had to work hard. Intense labor made clothes very easy to wear, especially in 1849 miners swarmed into California, forming the famous gold rush at that time.
Because the clothing is very easy to break, people are eager to have a durable clothing. At this time, when some factories used Genoese canvas to produce work pants, they called that canvas genoese, which means "Genoese". Later, he simply called the pants made of that kind of canvas genoese. Later evolved into "jeans". Such solid and durable jeans came into being. Levi Strauss (Levi Strauss) is recognized as the inventor of jeans.
In 1850, the 501 jeans produced by Levi's, which he founded, is the originator of jeans known to the world. In the mid-1930s, the jeans that almost everyone wore in the agricultural zone of the Midwestern United States were brought to the bustling city east of the Mississippi for the first time. From then on, jeans began to enter the ranks of popular clothing.

The development of jeans style

The first pair of jeans in the world refers to the Levis501 model, which has a history of 109 years. It is made of improved soft fabric. For more than 20 years before, Levi Strauss, a Jewish youth, used hard-wearing canvas to make trousers and sold them to gold prospectors who came to the United States. Unexpectedly, it was very popular. He himself became the originator of jeans. In 1925, the British Lee launched the world's first "zipper jeans"

The 1930s was the initial popular stage of jeans.
In the 1940s, as a munition, jeans gave full play to their strong and wearable characteristics on the battlefield. In the rebellious 50s,
Lee Cooper changed the zipper of women's jeans from sideways to middle, which caused great repercussions and controversy in the
society. At that time, Hollywood stars Marlon Brando, Monroe, and Elvis all liked to wear jeans, making them a goal pursued by young people.

In the relaxed and fashionable 60s, "hippie" appeared in the United States and "punk" appeared on the streets of the United Kingdom.
These cynical youths added game spirit and rebellion to the denim. Clothing is no longer purely for beauty, but also shows individuality
and expresses a somewhat decadent self. At this time, Lee Cooper became the largest denim garment manufacturer in Europe through the merger.
In the unrestrained 70s, jeans culture became the mainstream, and nobles and celebrities also kept them in their wardrobes,
and no longer had class prejudice against them. Princess Ann of the United Kingdom, Queen Fach of Egypt, and President Pompidou of
France all like to wear denim. What is more dramatic is that former US President Carter also wore denim to participate in the presidential election.

In the late 1970s, jeans were introduced into my country and became the focus of attention. In the 1980s, the economy was prosperous and
ideas were active. Jeans were torn deliberately, and rips, holes, and raw edges became the most popular signs.
In the 90s, the emphasis on environmental protection and value reflection made the trend of jeans become pure
and simple. The popularity of "red edge", "no stone grinding",
and "second-hand goods" reflects the retrospect and nostalgia of denim at the end of the century.

1855-The earliest jeans only had a back pocket, and there was no York. 1872-Initiated the use of metal rivets to reinforce the
stressed parts of jeans. 1873-Jeans changed from gray to indigo blue. The back pocket is decorated with orange double arch

the waistband. 1937-The rivets of the back pocket arehidden inside. 1941-The rivets on the lower part of the front opening of the
jeans were removed. During World War II, the back waist bow and rivets on the watch pocket were removed, and the
double-arch stitches on the back pocket were replaced by printed similar graphics. A laurel leaf replaced the logo on the button"
1947-the arched stitch reappeared.
1950-In order to follow the fashion trend, the trousers were cut into a slimmer style. 1955-Started production of 501 jeans with zippers.

1971-The red sign was changed from Xiang "LEVI`S" to Czech "Levi`s". 1983-Due to the improvement of loom technology, the width of the
door was widened and the red trousers disappeared.
In the 1990s, the rapid development of technology has greatly improved the craftsmanship of making jeans, and the accumulation of time
has allowed jeans to obtain today's perfect structure.
The exact date of the birth of jeans is May 20, 1873. On this day, the Patent and Trademark Office granted two immigrants, Levi
Strauss and Jacob Davis, the patent for the overalls they applied for. This kind of work pants is made of a kind of "denim",
which is reinforced during sewing, and new copper buttons are used on the trouser pocket and the trouser door. This idea was proposed
by Nevada tailor Davis. Davis is a customer of Strauss. Strauss was the owner of a small department store. Strauss hopes to meet the requirement
of gold miners with this new trouser style, because gold miners often complain that the trouser pockets can’t hold the gold particles in them.
